Description
About the Position
The Partner Engagement Manager (Mimecast Services Program) plays a vital role in the preparation, adoption, and ongoing execution of the Mimecast Services Program with and through our partners. You will be the glue between the implementation assistance team, channel teams, sales teams and the professional services team, ensuring alignment, clear handoffs, and a consistent partner experience.
Why Join Our Team?
“Mimecast was built to deliver “relentless protection” and help customers build a more resilient world by defending against cyber disruption—especially across the email attack surface. You’ll join a company with a unique, welcoming culture and a strong community of high performers, problem solvers, and team players who bring passion and integrity to their work. This role is a chance to make a direct impact on partner success by scaling how partners adopt, deliver, and grow through the Mimecast Partner Services Program, while working cross-functionally across Sales, Channel, Operations, Enablement, and Professional Services.” – Hiring Manager
What You’ll Do
Lead engagement for the Mimecast Services Program with partners, ensuring program expectations are understood, adopted, and executed consistently across the region (process, tasks, timelines, and responsibilities).
Use project coordination to keep track of all initiatives in the partner program and ensure they are delivered according to schedule and budget, including planning, dependency management, risk tracking, and stakeholder communications.
Work with Channel within your region to find the appropriate channel marketing events to attend—either to market the Mimecast Services Program or to network with already accredited partners—and bring insights back into the engagement plan.
Partner closely with Channel Account Managers (CAMs) and account teams to align partner engagement plans and execution, and participate in Partner QBRs to review outcomes, priorities, and next steps with accredited partners.
Support continuous improvement by capturing feedback and contributing to “lessons learned” so the Services Program becomes easier to adopt and deliver over time.
Establish and maintain training program operating rhythms (status updates, stakeholder syncs, trackers, action logs), ensuring issues are surfaced early and resolved quickly.
Maintain operational accuracy and visibility through CRM and reporting discipline—ensuring program activities, milestones, and outcomes captured in a timely manner to support leadership reporting.
Mentor and lead junior team members, driving consistency, quality, and continuous learning within the team.
Work alongside other engagement managers to ensure enablement, operations, and other initiatives are in order—driving alignment and repeatability across regions.
What You’ll Bring:
3–5 years of relevant experience (degree preferred but not required), ideally in partner programs, channel operations, services operations, engagement management, or project/implementation management.
Demonstrated experience in project and implementation of co-ordination, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with SaaS or related cloud services and services delivery concepts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong listening skills, presentation ability, comfort, facilitating groups, and cross-functional discussions.
A customer- and partner-focused mindset, and an ability to work effectively with globally diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members and foster a collaborative team culture.
